Ed Trayers has been my personal trainer since early Feb, 2011. I was referred to him by the orthopedic physician, and the physiatrist I was seeing due to severe nerve injury in the cervical spine area secondary to osteoarthritis. I had undergone four weeks of physical therapy prior to beginning my sessions with him. The first thing he did was meet with my physical therapist to ensure that he would only be doing beneficial things, and not cause any reversal of the progress I had made during those four weeks.

I have seen him three times/week for hourly sessions. He has gradually increased the difficulty of the exercises. He has been very careful to try and build my strength in all areas of my body, to increase my core strength and balance, again without adversely impacting my neck.

I honestly did not embark on this journey with great enthusiasm, but was willing to try most anything that my physicians recommended to help me prevent a

recurrence of the incredible pain I experienced in Dec. and Jan. I have come to realize that his understanding and expertise has been very valuable in the healing process. I now actually look forward to my sessions, and also take some pride in realizing what he has helped me to accomplish.

In addition to Ed being very capable, he is empathetic, tuned into his clients, so if I am having some pain, he adjusts the workout appropriately. In short, I would highly recommend Ed as a personal trainer.

I have had the pleasure of knowing Ed Trayers for the past ten years. In this time I have found him to be a knowledgible, competent trainer. Ed and I have on occasion had the opportunity to work hand in hand with the same clients. Ed is eager to learn and has been a willing participant in several of my seminars. He is proficient in recognizing postural imbalances in his clients. This is invaluable in designing the correct exercise program, when

strengthening their weakened muscle involved, this in turn contributes to fewer subluxations, and improves posture and general well being. To my knowledge Ed is the only local trainer that offers this service to his clients. He is the trainer that I recommend and refer my clients to.

Sincerely,

What a year of change this has been for me! Entering the Doctoral program at Nova Southeastern University, getting married, and becoming a stepmother have been the highlights. But the most significant change that has occurred is a paradigm shift in the way I view myself. I have never felt so happy, confident, and peaceful! Although many factors can be attributed to this phenomenon, the bottom line is that I have learned to truly accept

myself and the best part is, I really like who I am!

Why am I telling you all of this? Because I want you to know that you have influenced my lifestyle in such a positive way. When I came to the gym to work out with you last year, my energy level was low, and I was not very healthy. I appreciated the way you generally motivated me to commit to a regimented fitness and nutrition plan, while taking care not to push me too hard. It is not easy to describe, but as a therapist, I understand the importance of grading a treatment approach, in other words, starting with small, achievable goals, and building up towards the desired outcome. In retrospect, I am aware that is what you did with me; at the time, all I knew was that I looked forward to our sessions, and slowly my motivation and energy level climbed to new heights.

You truly have a gift of healing people, not only in a physical sense, but also in a holistic way. Your knowledge of anatomy, body mechanics, body sculpting, nutrition and safety prevention is expansive, and you have a wonderful way of empowering a person to . make important lifestyle changes by sharing .essential information in a direct and concise manner.

Not only have I gained a new oudook on life, but also I have gained a new and wonderful friend! Thank you for believing in me!
